When you visit our design showroom you will see beautiful space-saving wall beds and wonderfully organized home office combos.  In Metropolitan New York, Manhattan, Danbury or Plainfield, and anywhere in between, our Designers can help you envision what the possibilities are.  When you call More Space Place, we can either send a talented Designer to your home or set an appointment for a private consultation at one of our showrooms. Whether in-home or at one of our stores, design consultations are always complimentary.

We start by taking detailed measurements and then make recommendations to maximize your space.  Our exclusive CAD-based software even allows you to see your custom built Murphy bed, side bed, library bed or panel bed before we build or install it.  Every design is specific to your dimensions and desires. With your input, our highly-trained Designer will design the organizing furniture that works best for your needs.  More Space Place offers you your choice of materials, colors, styles, finishes, and accessories.  Once a rendering is created, the designer can easily make adjustments like changing colors, door style, shelf and drawer configurations, crown molding, hardware, etc.  There are literally thousands of options and our Designers are ready to custom design your furniture.

About More Space Place

For over 20 years, More Space Place has specialized in providing its Residential and Commercial customers with furniture that attractively organizes their work and home spaces.  More Space Place specializes in Wall beds (Murphy beds, panel beds, side beds, bookcase beds and library beds), Custom Closets, garage systems, pantries and other space saving furniture.  What began in the early eighties with a single Murphy bed store has now become a group of over forty retail locations.  The name More Space Place indicates that we offer a large product line of space saving furniture.  Now the entire Tri-State area is serviced from the New York City showroom, and the Long Island More Space Place services Nassau County and Suffolk County. In New York, Murphy beds can be designed either with a free in-home consultation or by appointment at one of our showrooms.

Our two New York locations are locally owned and operated. The team of professional Designers and Installers serve the entire tri-state area including New York City, Long Island, Connecticut and New Jersey. Their specialties are Murphy beds, Custom Closets, Media Centers, Home Offices, Pantries, Laundry rooms and Garage systems.

All of the board for our closet products is manufactured in our American owned and operated facility in Clearwater, FL., using the finest all-wood and laminate products.

Murphy Bed Manufacturing and Installation

Once you have approved your murphybed or panel-bed system design, we go to work at our state-of-the art manufacturing facility.  Our materials are carefully inspected at our USA based manufacturing plant, and each piece is built with your exact specifications. Each Murphy bed we build is made to order.

Our Professional Installation Team re-inspects your order and will work with you to schedule a convenient installation time. If we are installing a Murphy bed in New York or a custom closet in New Jersey, our Installers take the utmost in care to insure the quality of our products and the cleanliness of your home or business.

From cutting to finishing to assembly to inspection, everything is done with the utmost care.
